The evolution of healthcare remains constant as organizations are continually challenged to transform in order to meet the growing needs of healthcare demands. Like healthcare systems, medical groups, whether large or small, are forced to transform structures and care delivery in order to remain viable due to constant revenue and expense pressures.
Over the past year and a half, Arizona Associated Surgeons, LLC and Advanced Surgical Associates, LTD have been in discussions to bring both groups together in order to form a larger comprehensive surgical group in Arizona. Beginning January 1st, 2021, the new entity, Arizona Advanced Surgery, LLC will be one of the largest, comprehensive, private medical groups in the state of Arizona. Arizona Advanced Surgery will employ 39 surgeons with more than 15 allied health professionals. The medical group will span a multitude of specialties including General Surgery, Colon and Rectal, Bariatrics, Plastics, Surgical Oncology, Breast, Vascular, and Trauma.
